ONE PERCUSSIVE LANGUAGE, NO PERCUSSIVE BORDER

Kaboon started as a project between Bart Van Aken (Belgium, djembe) & SINSKE (Japan, marimba). In 2010 they started working with a “whole gang” of crazy percussionists in Dakar to make a crazy recording.

The music is based on the djembe traditions of West Africa.

On stage, this percussive collective is a joy to the eyes and limbs full of energy.
